Today, I am going to be sharing with you tips that can help you to be successful in life. You can’t just keep doing things the regular way and expect a different result.
You need to start doing things that the rich people do and stop doing things that the poor people do.
Guys, you see over and over again I keep on reading the success stories from successful people about their online and offline businesses and I have come up with these 7 tips which is a summary of what got them to that success platform.
I can tell you that if you too follow these 7 tips, you can get on the success story platform as well in a matter of time.
Here is an example of a guy that went from $0 a month to $10,000 a month in just 3 years. This guy started earning 5-figure passive income from internet after working three years for his online business.
Here is another story titled “How I made $5000 in a week + …” by a 20 something years old guy who started also earning 5-figure passive income monthly from an online business.
There are numerous success stories like this but there are few common things in those stories. The 7 tips I would be sharing with you today would be a summary of those common things.
Tip number 1
Start read articles or books that would help your dream.
Poor people watch television all day while the rich guys use that same time to read articles, blogs, books etc. that would help move their dream forward.
Ask yourself how many hours you spend in front of your television daily and when was the last time you actually read a developmental article or blog or motivational book.
Start reading books and start logging down how many books you would like to read in a week, a month or even a year starting from today.
Tip number 2
Start working your way towards how to get paid like the rich folks. Focus more on long term!
Poor people get paid based on time spent working while rich people get paid based on results.
Lets say you work in KFC as a cleaner, you may be the best cleaner in the world but what value do you bring to KFC? What is the worth of your value which is cleaning at KFC? Probably not much even though you’re the best cleaner right?
What about the rich guys? I said they get paid based on results and not time.
What do I meant by that?
Let say you are working on a product or service that you spend a year perfecting before you bring it to market.
Even after all the lengthy time investment, let say the product sucks and it doesn’t sell well i.e It doesn’t make a dime because the world doesn’t give a hoot.
Nobody care how much time you invested, how much money you invested, how much blood and sweat and tears were put into creating the product before bringing it to the market place.
People don’t just care about those things, they only care about the result of your time, energy, money investment.
This is the same reason why the highest paid athlete in the world is not paid base on the time he/she spent practicing or on the field. No, he/she would get paid base on performance.
Rich get paid by their long term effort like businesses, investments etc.
Focus more on the end result and performance of your business and not the instant gratification.
Tip number 3
Learn to take responsibility for your actions.
Poor folks blame others for their misfortune while rich people take responsibility for their own failures.
You see, for poor people it’s always somebody else’s fault.
Things or statement like – Oh it’s the economy of my country, it’s the government, it’s my past, it’s my neighbor, it’s my job, it’s my parents, it’s my friends etc.
Yes, for poor folks, it’s always somebody’s fault and never their own fault.
Rich people take responsibility. If they fail in one thing, they take responsibility, learn from their mistake and move on.
When you start taking responsibility, what happen is that you gain power to be in charge of your own destiny.
If you fail, you fail and if you win, you win.
The power to do something different, the power to change something about your life, about your finances belongs to you.
Tip number 4
Starting thinking long term..
Poor people focus more on short term. They focus on short term savings while rich folks focus on long term investment.
Guys, you know what? don’t drink that Starbucks coffee again every morning, make your own lunch and try to save a few dollars here and there.
Oh, don’t try to impress your friend or neighbor by flying first class again. Try to fly economy and try to always save a few dollars.
Also, remember that a penny saved is a penny owned. Try to take risk and invest the saved penny continuously for long term. You are not going to get rich by just saving few bucks, people don’t have savings problem but income problem.
Save more money and invest it for long term income generation.
Tip number 5
Be flexible to learn new things and new ways of doing things everyday.
You see poor people always think they know it all while rich folks are always open-minded, they continually learn new things.
Poor folks are always very opinionated, they are close minded and always want to tell the world about their opinion about politics, about sport, about government, about society, pretty much about every single damn things that is around them.
Rich folks are whereas humble, willing to learn, ask questions, flexible, open-minded, listening, reading, risking etc.
The reason why poor people always have opinion on everything is because of insecurity. To them the only way they can get attention and be relevant is by having opinion about everything in life.
Always remember that information is power. What you don’t know you don’t know. Flexibility can really go a long way in helping you achieve your dream.
Poor people’s income can only go to the extent of the physical work they do while rich folks wealth can grow as fast as possible with open minded lifestyle.
Tip number 6
Money is not evil
Poor people believe that money is the root of all evil in the world while rich folks believe that poverty is the root cause of all evil.
I bet you’ve heard those phrases before. Some persons doesn’t want to make money because of this.
You see, having money isn’t evil. Earning money isn’t evil. Exploiting people to acquire money is evil. Spending money wantonly in ways that don’t bring value into anyone else’s life is probably also evil.
However, having money to live a comfortable life or to take care of yourself, family and loved ones isn’t evil.
The popular saying that “money is the root of all evil” is a misquote. They are actually referencing 1st Timothy 6:10 from the holy Bible, which is usually translated as “For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil” or simply “for the love of money is the root of all evil.” This isn’t refering to money itself, but the love of money.
Yes, that is the key distinction there. Money itself is neither good nor evil. Money is simply a medium of exchange. It’s a medium for which people trade one thing for another – like people’s money or their time or their energy – for other things, like food or confort or housing etc.
What you choose to use your money for may be good or may be evil and it may just be a big missed opportunity. You could use money to make sure your children eat very nutritionally balanced meals or you could use it to hire a hit man to take out your rivals in politics.
Clear your mind and make money to enjoy the things of life.
Tip number 7
Take action to acquire real wealth.
Poor people typically have lottery mentality while rich folks have an action plan mentality.
You see most poor people believe the only way to get rich is by buying that lottery tickets and by being lucky to win even though they know that their chances of winning is very slim to none.
The lottery buying usually buys the poor folks fantasy like – hopefully if I win, I’m going to buy that house, I’m going to buy that car, I’m going to quit my day job etc.
Whereas the rich folks take their destiny into their hands by having an action plan.
Instead of the poor guys who solely relies on luck to quit his/her job, the rich folks are like, I’m going to make it happen by starting my own business now, I’m going to buy a brand new car in 5 years time by investing now etc.
Take action now to make yourself successful in life by doing something different, by taking risk, by investing, by starting your business, by earning a passive income.
Do not let your dream of a good and comfortable life depend on luck or lottery!
